I’m Semmi Verian Putera. I live in Jakarta, where I build products end to end.

I’m a staff engineer with ~10 years building web and mobile products across fintech and developer education. I studied computer science at Bina Nusantara University, and I’ve been shipping products ever since, from field-sales apps and admin platforms in Jakarta to the finance tools I work on today.

For a few years I taught as much as I built. As Campus Lead and Instructor at Hacktiv8, I taught full-stack JavaScript, ran campus operations and curriculum, and mentored instructors and hundreds of students, and created the Nge-React YouTube series to teach React to everyone.

Then I went deep into fintech. At Spenmo I owned the accounting and transaction surfaces end to end and led the frontend team that took Subscription Management from zero to launch. At Summit, I took a finance dashboard from first commit to customer-facing product, and now own features end to end across React frontends and Go microservices. I ship AI-powered features like OCR line-item extraction and invoice summaries, and drive AI-assisted engineering across the team.

These days I’m also finishing an MBA at Prasetiya Mulya University. I’m based in Jakarta, Indonesia, and open to relocation and visa sponsorship, and comfortable working and interviewing across time zones.
